ACADEMICS

Accelerated Christian Education's concepts are based on the following Five Basic Laws of Learning:

A child must be at a level where he can perform.
He must have reasonable goals.
His learning must be controlled, and he must be motivated.
His learning must be measurable.
His learning must be rewarded.

The concept of Accelerated Christian Education was started by Dr. Donald Howard in 1970 in Garland, Texas.
Since then this Christian Education system has spread to over 125 countries around the world with national warehouses located in the USA, Australia, U.K., Canada, Philippines and South Africa.
The Africa/Scandinavia office located in Durban has been operating since 1988.

Since its beginning, School of Tomorrow has launched over 300 schools and 1 000 home schools all over Africa and Scandinavia. There are over 17 000 students in Africa/Scandinavia involved in this system.

This educational system has been widely accepted by universities and other academic institutions around the world and is registered with the local departments of education.

A.C.E. is the curriculum that School of Tomorrow uses and it stands for Accelerated Christian Education. Students embark on a journey of self-learning and goal setting as they work through each PACE (Package of Accelerated Christian Education), covering every subject from mathematics and science through to language and social studies.
